This article aims to analyze which products were charged in the Cartas
de Foral, quantity and how these products were related to History of royal and noble
alimentation in Portuguese Low Middle Ages. At first is required to present King
Dinis and his performance in the Portuguese Kingdom in the period 1279–1325.
The second step will be for the definition and analysis of foraleira documentation
as well as enumerate its features. After is the the study of this documentation in
king Dinis Chancellery related to year 1291.The third point of the text is to study
more specifically this documentation and analysis of data related to Alimentation
History found there, as well as the conclusions reached.
