This article analyzes the unique literary recreation of the myth of
Antigone in Asturian Literature: the drama Antígona, por exemplu (1991) by Nel
Amaro. The author transports Sophoclean characters to the twentieth century and
ponders critically about timelessness of some causes.
Este artículo analiza la única recreación literaria del mito de Antígona
en las letras asturianas: el drama Antígona, por exemplu (1991) de Nel Amaro. El
autor transporta a los personajes de Sófocles al siglo XX y reflexiona críticamente
sobre la intemporalidad de algunas causas.
