Commercial fluvio-maritime navigation and population in the western Municipium Olisiponense: around the Lizandro (Mafra) and Colares (Sintra) rivers
Resumo
On this study we strengthen the hypothesis of the Lizandro and the
Colares rivers have been navigated during the Roman Period and their potential usage
as a way of draining the rural production of the region, while the villages in the area
were involved in a trade network that was part of the hinterland that supplied Olisipo.
